Is listing really free?
Yes — your profile listing is always free. Portal features (enquiry inbox, quotes, analytics, availability) are free until 1 July 2026, then £9.99/month. Early vendors who subscribe during the launch period will be grandfathered in at that price.
What kind of vendors can apply?
Any wedding professional who has experience with South Asian weddings. Photographers, videographers, decorators, caterers, mehndi artists, DJs, pandits, planners, venues, makeup artists, and more.
Do I need to be based in a specific city?
No — you can list multiple cities. If you travel nationally or cover multiple regions, select all relevant cities when you apply.
How do enquiries work?
When a couple enquires through your profile, the message lands in your Baraat portal inbox and is also forwarded to your email. You can reply, track status, and send a quote directly from the portal.
Can I manage my own profile once I am listed?
Yes. Once approved you have full access to your vendor portal — update your description, upload portfolio images, set your availability, and respond to enquiries yourself.
What happens after 1 July 2026?
Portal features will move to £9.99/month. Your listing always remains free and visible in search. Vendors subscribed before 1 July 2026 will keep the launch price for as long as their subscription stays active.
